Anaesthetic Rooms
Please contact your Anaesthetist for your fee estimate and any associated paperwork for your aesthetic admission. If your Anaesthetist is a member of the Frankston Anaesthetic Group, they can be contacted on fasonline.com.au or phone (03) 9770 1388. If your Anaesthetist is not a member of this group, you will be given their contact details.
Hospital Registration Form
This is typically done online, and you will be guided through the registration process with the hospital. If you have had a previous admission, this process is usually quick and easy. It can take longer to complete if this is your first hospital admission.
Consent Form
At the time of your consultation your surgeon will ask you to sign the Acknowledgement of Information form and the Consent form.
Instructions
Fasting instructions can vary depending on your medical history and regular medications. Your anaesthetist can advise on the appropriate fasting guidelines. For most healthy people who are not taking medication, fasting generally involves abstaining from food and drink for 6 hours before surgery.
Surgeon’s Fee
The Surgeon’s fee, which is the quote or invoice given to you at the time of your consultation, must be paid before your surgery.
